Course Overview

A 6,000 acre master-planned community within minutes of downtown Columbus, Ohio, New Albany is nationally renowned for its master-planning that established extremely high standards at the outset and continue to guide the development of the community today. New Albany Country Club, which debuted in 1992 and was an important early anchor to New Albany has grown to include 1,300 members that enjoy the club for its many amenities, including a 27-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and a premier Golf Academy that offers play in any season.

The course is distinguished by its varying terrain. Some areas have the lush feel of the Carolinas; others suggest the ruggedness of the Scottish links. Rocky Fork Creek was incorporated into the design allowing it to blend with New Albany’s natural surroundings. The cart paths even wrap around a 19th century home that’s been placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

The Golf Academy hosts three hitting bays allowing members to drive balls from indoors to outdoors, and two more bays are dedicated to instruction, where technology enables players to record and analyze their swings, comparing it to that of professional golfers or checking their own progress. Members also may practice and analyze their putting indoors. The addition of a TaylorMade Performance Lab in 2012 has allowed members to have access to a state of the art fitting experience that uses 3D motion capture technology.

New Albany Country Club is so much more than a golf course and country club and prides itself on having something for every member of the family. Members have access to 20 Tennis Courts including Hard, Clay, Grass and Platform Courts, 3 Full-Service Dining Rooms, Full-Service Catering Facility including in home catering capabilities, State of the Art 30,000 sq. ft. Fitness Facility, over 70 weekly group fitness classes, Spa Services, Indoor and multiple Outdoor Pools, Full-Service Concierge, Golf and Tennis Resort Shops, Championship Croquet Lawn and many other amenities which allow them to “Relax, Rejuvenate and Enjoy”.
