Jack Nicklaus II
Private
open 1991
When Jack Nicklaus II designed this course, he must have had the word “fun” in mind. That’s not to say it doesn’t challenge you the way a Nicklaus course should. The difference is that this course, named the “Most Women-Friendly in America” by Golf for Women Magazine, was built to give you a fair test of your golf skills, no matter what level your game has reached. To see some of Jackie’s unique design features, just click on the Heritage course layout link below. You’ll see that each hole has a set of five tee boxes. Five! You choose where you tee off from the one that allows you to decide the level of challenge you want to face. In addition, our multiple tee set-ups are perfect for the family golf game… Dad, Mom and even the kids.
While it’s a friendly course, the Heritage is no pushover. Check out the water hazards throughout, the long bunkers. Yes, the Heritage is a fun course… but no one at Ibis will tell you it’s easy. The Heritage is also the course where you’ll play a fair share of our club tournaments, weekly schedules, member-guests and the like. Play it once and I’ll ask you if you agree with Golf Digest’s assessment that the Heritage is one of the “Top 20 New Private Courses in America.”
We would love to bring your vision to life. Begin designing your course today.
